  2. Choose the sign-in option you registered with.

Interac Sign-In Partner (your online banking), GCKey (a username and password you create with the government), or provincial sign-in (B.C. and Alberta only). To use a different option, you have to register with it.

Frequently asked questions

Is My Service Canada Account the same as CRA My Account?

No. They are separate accounts. My Service Canada Account covers EI, CPP, OAS, the Canadian Dental Care Plan, the Canada Disability Benefit and SIN. CRA My Account covers taxes and CRA-run benefits like the Canada child benefit.

What is a Personal Access Code (PAC)?

A code used to confirm your identity when you register for My Service Canada Account. If you applied for CPP or OAS, it was mailed to you. Otherwise you can request one on the official PAC page, or verify your identity with the Interac verification service instead.

Can I switch from GCKey to my bank sign-in?

Yes, but you need to register with the new option. My Service Canada Account says to use the option you registered with every time you sign in.
