How to Change Your Address With Service Canada (EI, CPP, OAS)

You can change your personal information online in My Service Canada Account only for OAS and the Canadian Dental Care Plan. For EI, CPP and the Canada Disability Benefit, call the program, request a call back, or visit a Service Canada office. Updating the CRA does not update Service Canada.

Sign in to My Service Canada Account and select the benefit from your dashboard.

EI, CPP or the Canada Disability Benefit

  • Call the program's phone line,
  • Request a call back with the eServiceCanada form (a representative calls within 2 business days), or
  • Visit a Service Canada office with accepted ID.

Tell the CRA too

The CRA does not share your address with other departments, and Service Canada is a separate department, so update each one.

How to Change Your Address With the CRA The fastest way is online: sign in to your CRA account, go to Profile, Contact information, Edit, and the change is immediate. You can also call 1-800-959-8281 (same day) or mail Form RC325 (4 to 6 weeks). The CRA does not pass your new address to other departments.
