Before you call about a missing payment

Wait 5 working days after the payment date for the Canada child benefit, and 10 working days for the GST/HST credit or Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit, before contacting the CRA. For estimates on the automated line, call no earlier than 2 weeks before a CCB payment or 3 weeks before a GST/HST payment.
